About Us

MGH & Associates collectively has over 150 years experience in naval architecture design and engineering, program management, manufacturing and testing of marine vessels for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Special Operations Command, and Foreign Militaries, as well as commercial clients.    

This extensive experience includes all aspects of design of complex combatant craft, small high-speed ships and other surface ships, including traditional studies and design development for all aspects of the hull and systems as well as design and integration of systems and technologies unique to highly advanced military platforms. 

Associates can provide all levels of design and oversight to meet the customer’s needs including program management, design management, construction oversight, test planning and test management for model and full scale test programs, development of design packages in accordance with operational requirements, as well as lifecycle management for in-service sustainment.  Our associates are also recognized experts in specialized technologies to enhance the operational effectiveness of combatant craft in the riverine, coastal and open waters. 

Our Associates are knowledgeable of U.S. Federal contracting and acquisition processes and have experience developing overseas partnerships with other foreign governments and industries for successful International Programs and can provide technical and programmatic expertise in guiding your program through the process.

MGH & Associates routinely partners with academia for research and development projects and is affiliated with the College of Engineering at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, VA.
